Description 

The Digital Health Professional Training modules are designed to equip professionals with a deeper understanding of digital health technology and its diverse applications in supporting patient care within the cardiology space. These modules cover essential tools, methods, and skills needed to effectively implement digital solutions and therapeutics in patient care. Topics include digital tools and remote patient monitoring, health tech literacy and access considerations, communication and coaching techniques to enhance patient engagement, health literacy strategies, best practices for digital interventions, and approaches to condition-specific digital therapeutics.

4. Recognize patient engagement and outcome strategies, increasing a patient’s engagement and health and digital health literacy 

5. Discuss considerations of social determinants of health in the context of digital therapeutics in cardiac rehab 

Digital Therapeutics in Heart Failure 

At the conclusion, participants should be able to 

1. Recognize the types of digital tools available for the management of heart failure and how a health care professional can implement them into their practice 

2. Describe digital therapeutics in heart failure across long-term patient care 

3. Discuss practical implementation considerations for your patients using digital health tools to manage heart failure 

4. Describe how digital therapeutics can complement existing systems and fit into long-term management strategies for heart failure patients

Digital Therapeutics in Hypertension 

At the conclusion, participants should be able to 

1. Describe the benefits of implementing digital therapeutics in the management of hypertension 

2. Recognize the types of digital tools available for hypertension and how health care professionals can implement them into their practice 

3. Express the utility of digital health hypertension tools to patients and caregivers 

4. Explain implementation considerations, including assessing the digital health literacy of a patient and identifying social determinants of health considerations
