Description
The American Heart Association Center for Telehealth's Basics of Telecardiology Course Package provides an introduction to Telecardiology practice and patient identification for remote monitoring. Potential benefits, as well as patient-centered barriers to Telecardiology implementation are also covered, in addition to communication considerations unique to the field.

Learning Objectives
Remote Patient Monitoring in Telecardiology
At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
1. Identify patients who can benefit from remote patient monitor use
2. Discuss patient risk factors and adherence to remote patient monitoring
3. Discuss management of patient-reported data
4. Identify devices used in telecardiology
5. Identify legal considerations in remote patient monitoring
6. Discuss reimbursement considerations with remote patient monitoring
7. Identify electronic health record management with remote patient monitoring

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
1. Describe the potential benefits of using telecardiology
